Erin Foster and her sister Sara flipped reality television on its head with their hit VH1 satire Barely Famous, a series which they both starred in and produced. In addition to their thriving careers in Hollywood, the sisters were recently hired as Heads of Creative for the groundbreaking relationship app Bumble.
Born in Los Angeles to legendary music producer David Foster, Erin Foster started making appearances in television series during the late nineties. Her acting credits include episodes of Judging Amy, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Reno 911!, House, NCIS: Los Angeles and Law & Order alongside a recurring role as Heather on The O.C. In 2012, she began writing for the NBC series The New Normal. Her career truly launched when Barely Famous debuted in 2015, a satire making fun of Los Angeles and reality TV culture. Erin and Sara Foster created, produced, and starred in both seasons of the VH1 mockumentary. Having countless ties to the Hollywood culture they were parodying, the sisters were a natural fit for Barely Famous and have recently considered bringing the show back for a third season.
Erin and Sara were hired as Heads of Creative for Bumble after CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd invited them to speak on a “Women in Entertainment” panel in 2017. Foster wrote, starred in, and executive produced the 20th Century Fox TV movie Daddy Issues in 2018, which resulted in a multi-year deal with the production company. The famous Erin Foster has over half a million followers on Instagram and is under contract to both write and star in multiple comedies in the near future.
