Rolonda Watts is a journalist, talk show host, actress, voice-actress, producer and writer known for her many talents. Not only is her talent known almost everywhere, but her face, name and voice have been glued in to her audience’s minds. Watts is best known for her talk show, Rolanda, but she has proven her worth in other on-screen series as well. Not only that, Watts has also received two accolades from the LA Indie Film Fest for Best Ensemble Cast.
Watts had designed her own pedestal as she’s climbed to the top of the on-screen game. Her resume includes over 60 acting credits that include live-action roles and voice-over roles, to over 30 self credits where she has guest starred on talk shows and anchoring her own shows. Her debut onto the big screen was in 1968 where she made her prominence as a New York Anchor on Eyewitness News. In 1994 she premiered her own talk show, Rolanda, which reached 4 seasons, over 300 episodes. In this syndicated talk show, Watts starred as the host where she addresses topical issues and interviews guests. 2 years later Watts starred in the comedy film, Girl 6 as a reporter.
