Ernest has transitioned from a hip-hop influenced artist to a successful country music singer-songwriter, penning numerous hits for fellow artists and establishing his own record label. His career journey demonstrates adaptability and a broad musical range. After earning a co-writing credit on Florida Georgia Line’s 2016 album Dig Your Roots, Ernest established himself as a versatile songwriter and artist. He demonstrated his broad musical range early in his career, releasing country rap singles such as ‘Dopeman’ and ‘Bad Boy’ in 2017 under his mononym Ernest.
Concurrently, he established DeVille Records in 2023, a joint venture with Big Loud Records, dedicated to artist development and fostering traditional country values. His performing schedule continued to grow, culminating in a notable appearance at the Stagecoach Festival in April 2024, where he shared the stage with iconic artists such as Morgan Wallen and Willie Nelson. Further showcasing his artistic evolution, Ernest released his latest album, Nashville, Tennessee, in 2024.
