Ethan Peck

Ethan Gregory Peck, born on March 2, 1986, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actor known for his work in film and television since the late 1990s. The grandson of actor Gregory Peck, he began his acting career at a young age, with his first film role at nine years old in Marshall Law as Jimmy Smits’ son. He also appeared in the 1999 film Passport to Paris, co-starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Peck’s early television appearances included a younger Michael Kelso in That ’70s Show.

Peck continued to develop his acting skills, studying theater at the Experimental Theater Wing in New York University – Tisch School of the Arts from 2004 to 2008. His work in film includes co-starring roles in Tennessee (2008) with Mariah Carey and Adopt a Sailor (2008) alongside Peter Coyote and Bebe Neuwirth. For his performance in Adopt a Sailor, he received the “Best Actor” award at the 2009 Sonoma International Film Festival. From 2009 to 2010, he held a main role in the ABC Family series 10 Things I Hate About You, portraying Patrick Verona.

A significant turning point in Peck’s career came in 2019 when he was cast as a young Spock in the second season of Star Trek: Discovery. He later reprised this role in the spin-off series, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, beginning in 2022. Beyond his iconic science fiction role, Peck has appeared in films such as The Midnight Sky (2020) and The Unholy Trinity (2024), and has a background in various television and web series productions, showcasing his range as an actor.
