South Korean figure skater, Lim Eun-soo is a top-ranking female figure skater who has taken home numerous medals and is a former national champion.
After learning to skate at the age of six, Eun-soo won her first medal at the 2016 South Korean Championships, at which she took home the bronze medal. Returning to the event the following year, Eun-soo went on to win the gold medal and achieve her first national title. It was during the 2016-17 season that Eun-soo made her international junior debut at the Junior Grand Prix series, going on to win bronze in Dresden, Germany. Returning to compete at the series in the following 2017-18 season, Eun-soo went on to win her second JGP medal when she took home the silver in Salzburg, Austria. A highlight of her junior career included Eun-soo’s fourth-place win at the 2017 World Junior Championship, during which she also achieved personal bests across all her segments. During 2018, Eun-soo also won bronze at the South Korean National Championships and placed fifth at the World Junior Championships.
Eun-soo went on to make her senior international debut during the 2018-19 season, winning gold at the CS Asian Open Trophy, followed by a personal best at the NHK Trophy. Participating at her first Four Continents Championships and the 2019 World Championships, Eun-soo went on to finish in tenth place. As of the 2019-20 season, Eun-soo is currently ranked the ninth highest female figure skater.
