Eva La Rue

Eva LaRue, born Eva Maria LaRuy in Long Beach, California, on December 27, 1966, began her career in entertainment at the age of six, appearing in television commercials and singing jingles. After graduating from Norco High School in 1985, she pursued modeling, working with the Judith Fontaine Agency and later with Frederick’s of Hollywood. Her acting career expanded with roles in films such as “The Barbarians” (1987) and “RoboCop 3” (1993). Her sustained presence in the industry was established through significant roles in television.

LaRue gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Dr. Maria Santos Grey on the soap opera “All My Children,” a role she held from 1993 to 1997 and again from 2002 to 2005. During this period, she received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 1997. She also earned a nomination in 2004 for Outstanding Original Song for “Dance Again with You,” which was featured on the show. Following her work on “All My Children,” LaRue joined the cast of “CSI: Miami” in 2005 as Natalia Boa Vista, initially as a recurring character before becoming a full-time cast member from season five to season ten. In 2020, she won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series for her role on “The Young and the Restless.”

Her career includes a variety of television appearances, such as co-hosting “Candid Camera” from 1991 to 1992 and recurring roles in “Third Watch” and “George Lopez.” She has also acted in television movies, portraying Annette Funicello in a biographical film and starring in several thrillers. LaRue has continued to work in television, joining the cast of “Fuller House” in 2016 as Teri Tanner, and more recently appearing on “General Hospital” from 2024 to 2025 as Natalia Rogers-Ramirez.
