Myanmar Khin Wint Wah is a Burmese actress, commercial model, and beauty pageant title holder who has represented Myanmar on an international stage and starred in numerous films and television series.
Khin Wint Wah was appointed as a brand ambassador for Camella Cosmetic in 2014. This partnership involved promoting Camella Cosmetics Myanmar at events like "The Big...".
Khin Wint Wah was a brand ambassador for Oppo from 2015 to 2016 and was re-appointed from 2016 to 2017 to promote their F3 smartphone. Her playlists on YouTube also feature her association with Oppo.
In 2018, Khin Wint Wah was appointed as a brand ambassador for Sofy Eva.
Khin Wint Wah, whose birth name is Chaw Su Hlaing, was born on September 21, 1994, in Yangon, Myanmar. She is the youngest of four siblings. Khin Wint Wah attended Basic Education High School No. 2 Bahan and pursued higher education in botany, studying for two years at Dagon University before completing her BSc. Botany degree through distance education at Yangon University. Her early career included pageantry, where she won the “Queen of Beauty Award” at Miss MK Gem 2012, before being crowned Miss Supranational Myanmar 2013.
In 2013, Khin Wint Wah represented Myanmar at the Miss Supranational 2013 pageant in Minsk, Belarus. Competing against participants from 98 other nations, she was recognized with four awards: the “Miss Internet Award,” “Most Beauty Girl in the World Award,” “People Choice Award,” and “Face of Miss Supranational Award.” She also placed in the top 20 at the international competition. Following her success in pageantry, Khin Wint Wah transitioned into an acting career, making her debut in the film “Fairy and Me” in 2014, where she played a lead role. This marked the beginning of her extensive work in the entertainment industry.
Khin Wint Wah’s career progressed to include significant roles in big-screen productions. In 2016, she starred in her first major cinematic role in “Thingyan Pyatike” (Thingyan Museum), which premiered in Myanmar cinemas. She has since acted in over 30 big-screen movies and more than 80 direct-to-video productions. A notable achievement was her lead role in the 2017 film “Bridge of Clouds,” released in 2018. Beyond acting, Khin Wint Wah has also engaged in humanitarian work, including donating food and clothing to an orphanage in 2013 and fundraising for flood victims in 2015. In 2021, she participated in anti-coup protests and received a warrant for her arrest under section 505 (a) of the Myanmar Penal Code due to her activism.
