Ferelith Young

Ferelith Young was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on December 29, 1984, to Mary and Peter Young. She pursued her education at McGill University, where she earned an Honors Bachelor of Arts. Furthering her acting studies, she trained with Jacqueline McClintock and at the Neighborhood Playhouse. Her career encompasses film, television, and voiceover work in both French and English, showcasing her bilingual abilities and broad range. Young made her screen debut in 2005, marking the beginning of a career that spans nearly two decades.

Throughout her career, Young has achieved notable milestones across various mediums. In 2008, she played Helen in the film adaptation of Sarah Waters’ novel, “Affinity.” A significant turning point in her career was her role as Ned Wynert in the 2015 video game “Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate,” for which she provided both voice acting and motion capture. This role was recognized for its portrayal of the game’s first transgender character. She gained further recognition with a recurring role as Sandra in the Canadian drama series “21 Thunder,” which was broadcast globally on Netflix. Additionally, she appeared in “Diggstown,” a Canadian series that premiered in 2019, notable for featuring the country’s first Black female lead character.

More recently, Ferelith Young has continued to expand her portfolio with prominent voice roles, including Eleni Syndulla in the animated series “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” (2021) and a Brotherhood Initiate in “Fallout 76: Steel Dawn” (2020).
