Finn Jones

Finn Jones, born Terence Jones on March 24, 1988, in London, England, developed his acting skills at The Arts Educational Schools through a three-year acting course. Prior to this, he was a Sixth Form student at Hayes School in Bromley. Jones started his professional acting career in British television, appearing in popular shows. In October 2009, he played Jamie in the second series of ‘Hollyoaks Later,’ a role he reprised in ‘Hollyoaks’ in February 2010. During 2010 and 2011, he appeared in two episodes of the long-running medical drama ‘Doctors’ and also featured in two episodes of ‘The Bill’ in April 2010 as Mark Kennedy. A notable early role came in 2010 as Santiago Jones in the ‘Doctor Who’ spin-off ‘The Sarah Jane Adventures,’ alongside Katy Manning.

Jones gained international prominence when he was cast as Ser Loras Tyrell, ‘The Knight of Flowers,’ in the HBO fantasy series ‘Game of Thrones,’ a role he held from 2011 to 2016, appearing in 21 episodes. Following this, he took on another significant role as the titular character, Danny Rand/Iron Fist, in the Netflix/Marvel series ‘Iron Fist,’ which ran from 2017 to 2018 for 23 episodes. He further reprised this character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with appearances in ‘The Defenders’ (2017), where he was a main character across 8 episodes, and a guest star role in ‘Luke Cage’ (2018) in one episode. These roles established his presence in large-scale franchise productions.

His career also includes film work, such as ‘Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines’ (2012), ‘The Last Showing’ (2014), and ‘Leatherface’ (2017). More recently, Jones appeared in the Apple TV+ series ‘Dickinson’ in 2021 as Samuel Bowles across 10 episodes and acted as Brian in the 2021 film ‘Awake.’ In 2022, he starred as Robert in ‘The Visitor’ and Marty in the TV series ‘Swimming with Sharks’ for 6 episodes. His upcoming projects include “The Venery of Samantha Bird” as Jake Minot and “Canyon of the Dead” portraying Charles Lindbergh.
