Fiona Bruce

Fiona Bruce is a renowned British journalist, newsreader, and television presenter, recognized for her extensive career across various BBC flagship programmes. After joining the BBC as a researcher for their current affairs programme, Panorama, in 1989, Fiona Bruce quickly transitioned into reporting for Breakfast News in 1992, subsequently contributing to BBC South East’s Newsroom South East and First Sight. Her early career saw her report for Public Eye from 1994 to 1995 and present Newsnight from 1995 to 1998. Bruce’s rapid ascent continued in 1996, when she took on presenting duties for both Breakfast News and the BBC Six O’Clock News, establishing her as a prominent voice in British news broadcasting.

In 2008, she replaced Michael Aspel as the esteemed presenter of Antiques Roadshow, a role she has held with distinction.
