Franklin Nathaniel Jonas, born on September 28, 2000, in Ridgewood, New Jersey, began his career in entertainment at a young age. He is the youngest brother of the Jonas Brothers: Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas. His early acting credits include voicing Sōsuke in the English dub of the 2008 Hayao Miyazaki animated film *Ponyo* and appearing as a recurring character, Frankie Lucas, in the Disney Channel series *Jonas* from 2009 to 2010. He also had a minor role as Junior Rocker Trevor in the Disney Channel original film *Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam* in 2010. In 2009, he received recognition by winning “Choice Breakout TV Star – Male” at the Teen Choice Awards for his role in *Jonas*.
Jonas continued to expand his acting portfolio, appearing in the video *Spooky Buddies* in 2011 as the voice of Pip, *The Reef 2: High Tide* in 2012 as the voice of Junior, and the TV movie *Gutsy Frog* in 2013 as Frankie. He also featured in the TV series *R.L. Stine’s the Haunting Hour*, playing Ethan and Dave across two episodes from 2011 to 2013. Beyond acting, he gained further exposure through the E! reality show *Married to Jonas*, which followed his brother Kevin Jonas and his wife. In June 2017, he ventured into music, releasing his debut track “Shanghai Noon” on SoundCloud, followed by “Appa” less than a year later. In January 2019, he produced Alli Haber’s song “Too Young.”
More recently, Frankie Jonas has cultivated a significant presence on social media platforms, amassing 1.9 million followers on TikTok by July 2022. This digital success led to a signing with UTA in March 2021, the same agency representing his older brothers. Since July 2022, he has co-hosted ABC’s reality competition series *Claim to Fame* alongside his brother Kevin Jonas. In 2023, he officially launched his music career as a singer and songwriter, releasing singles “Cocaine” in February and “Hoboken” in April, culminating in his debut extended play, *Sewer Rat*, released on June 21, 2023. He also made his live performance debut at the Stagecoach Festival on April 29, 2023, showcasing his evolving artistic journey.
