Geno Petriashvili

Geno Petriashvili is a decorated Georgian freestyle wrestler, a three-time world champion and Olympic medalist, highly valued for brand partnerships and endorsements. After securing the Georgian Senior Championships heavyweight title in December 2012 against more experienced competitors, Geno Petriashvili quickly established himself as a dominant force in freestyle wrestling. His foundational years included significant junior achievements, earning a Gold medal at the 2011 European Cadets Wrestling Championships (100 kg), a Bronze at the 2011 European Juniors Wrestling Championships, and Silver at the 2011 World Cadets Championships. He also placed fourth at the inaugural 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in the 100 kg weight class and secured a Bronze medal at the 2012 World Junior Wrestling Championships.

His Olympic journey progressed with a Silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where he narrowly lost in the final, further underscoring his world-class capabilities. Maintaining his position among the sport’s elite, Petriashvili earned a Silver medal at the 2021 World Wrestling Championships and a Bronze in 2022. In the lead-up to his latest Olympic success, he secured Silver medals at both the 2023 European Wrestling Championships and the 2024 European Championships. Petriashvili achieved the pinnacle of his career in 2024, winning the coveted Gold medal at the Paris Summer Olympics in the men’s freestyle 125kg event, solidifying his legacy as an Olympic Champion and one of the most decorated freestyle wrestlers of his generation.
