Giaa Manek was born on February 18, 1986, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. She began her acting career in 2010, initially appearing in a minor role in the Hindi comedy film ‘Na Ghar Ke Na Ghaat Ke’ before transitioning to television. Her breakthrough came with the Star Plus show ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya,’ where she portrayed the character of Gopi Modi (2010-2012). This role brought her significant recognition and made her a household name in Indian television.
In 2012, Manek participated in the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5.’ Her involvement in the dance show led to a scheduling conflict with her role in ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya,’ ultimately resulting in her departure from the series. Following her time on the dance reality show, she took on the lead role of Jeannie in the SAB TV series ‘Jeannie Aur Juju,’ which ran from 2012 to 2014, spanning 415 episodes.
