Gianni Paolo

Gianni Paolo was born on May 27, 1996, in Providence, Rhode Island. His early life included an interest in ice hockey, leading to him being drafted in the 2013 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Draft by the Shawinigan Cataractes. His rights were later acquired by the Charlottetown Islanders. At the age of 19, Paolo relocated to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

Paolo’s acting career commenced with various roles, including an appearance in the 2016 film “Arlo: The Burping Pig” and the 2017 TV series “The Mick.” A significant turning point in his career came with his casting as Brayden Weston in the Starz series “Power,” a role he reprised and expanded upon in its spin-off and sequel, “Power Book II: Ghost,” from 2020 to 2024. He also portrayed Chaz in the 2019 horror film “Ma.” Beyond acting, Paolo has ventured into production, co-founding Twenty Two Entertainment with Michael Rainey Jr., a company focused on developing films, TV series, and multimedia content. This venture is supported by Kenan Thompson’s Artists For Artists. In 2024, he joined the cast of the Paramount Pictures thriller “Trust” alongside Sophie Turner and Katey Sagal.

His career also includes guest appearances on podcasts like “This Past Weekend” hosted by comedian Theo Von. Paolo’s entrepreneurial spirit extends to the fitness industry, where he has become a brand ambassador and equity stakeholder in Fit App Home Gym, developing an exclusive workout program titled ‘The One of One Workout’.
