Greg Ellis

Jonathan Rees, known professionally as Greg Ellis, was born on March 21, 1968, in Wigan, Lancashire, England. He began his professional career in entertainment at a young age, demonstrating diverse talents. By 12, he had mastered the Rubik’s Cube, and by 13, held the world record for Pac-Man. His early theatrical contributions included a lead role in a West End musical at 14, followed by a number one single on pop charts at 15. He left school at 16 and home at 17, embarking on a career that would span multiple facets of the entertainment industry.

Ellis has accumulated a significant filmography, contributing to major motion picture franchises. His live-action film credits include the billion-dollar franchises such as the *Pirates of the Caribbean* series, appearing in *The Curse of the Black Pearl* (2003), *At World’s End* (2007), and *On Stranger Tides* (2011) as Lieutenant Theodore Groves. He also appeared in *Titanic* (1997) as a *Carpathia* Steward, *Mr. & Mrs. Smith* (2005) as Mickey, and J.J. Abrams’s *Star Trek* (2009) as Chief Engineer Olson.
