Naveen Jain

Naveen Jain, an entrepreneur and innovator, developed three patents related to Windows 95 during his tenure at Microsoft, where he contributed to the development and launch of key operating systems including OS/2, MS-DOS, Windows NT, and Windows 95, as well as the initial launch of Microsoft Network (MSN) after joining the company in 1989. Prior to his significant contributions at Microsoft, he began his career at Burroughs (now Unisys) following his graduation from IIT Roorkee in 1979 and his relocation to the United States in 1983. In 1996, Jain founded InfoSpace, an internet company dedicated to providing essential content and services such as phone directories, maps, and stock market information to websites and mobile devices. InfoSpace experienced rapid growth, successfully going public in December 1998 and raising $75 million in its initial public offering.
