Jehan Daruvala was born on October 1, 1998, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He began his karting career in 2011, quickly demonstrating his potential by winning the Asia-Pacific Championship in 2012 and the Super 1 National Championship in 2013. He also achieved a third-place finish in the Karting World Championship in 2014. These early successes laid the foundation for his progression into single-seater racing. In 2011, Daruvala was selected as one of three winners of the ‘One in a Billion hunt’ organized by the Force India F1 team, which provided early support for his development in motorsport.
