Greg Finley

Born on December 22, 1984, in Portland, Maine, Greg Finley embarked on his acting career after overcoming a significant health challenge during his college years. Initially enrolled in a restaurant management program at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, Finley’s academic pursuits were interrupted by a severe health issue. During his recovery, he found solace in film and television, which subsequently inspired his decision to pursue acting. At the age of 19, Finley relocated to Los Angeles to begin his professional journey.

Finley’s career gained momentum with his role as Jack Pappas in “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” a series in which he was a regular from 2008 to 2013. He continued his television work with significant roles such as Drake in “Star-Crossed” (2014) and later as Drake Holloway in “iZombie” (2015–2017). His portrayal of Tony Woodward, also known as Girder, across three episodes of “The Flash” (2014–2016) further established his presence in popular genre television. Finley’s film credits include “Hypothermia” (2012), “The Witch Files” (2018), and “Blackjack: The Jackie Ryan Story” (2020), where he played the titular character. He also expanded his creative involvement beyond acting, contributing as a writer and producer for the 2021 film “Downeast.”

Finley’s recent work includes appearances in “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” (2020), “NCIS: Hawai’i” (2023), and a role in “Chicago Fire” scheduled for 2025.
