Gus Bradley

Gus Bradley is a seasoned NFL coach known for his expertise in defensive strategies, transitioning from various coordinator roles to influential leadership positions. After orchestrating one of the NFL’s premier defensive units, including the development of the ‘Legion of Boom’ secondary as Defensive Coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks from 2009-2012, Gus Bradley established himself as a preeminent defensive strategist. Under his leadership, the Seahawks’ defense culminated in 2012 with the league’s top scoring defense and the fourth-best total defense. This success led to his first NFL head coaching opportunity with the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2013-2016, where his defensive units consistently demonstrated strong performance.

In 2025, Bradley joined the San Francisco 49ers as Assistant Head Coach of Defense.
