Hailey Van Lith concluded her high school career as the all-time leading scorer in Washington state history, breaking the record in February 2020 with a 46-point game for Cashmere High School. Debuting in November 2016, Van Lith immediately made an impact, averaging 24.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 3.8 steals per game as a freshman, earning AP Class 1A All-State first-team honors. In January 2018, she achieved the program’s first quadruple-double with 37 points, 14 steals, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Her junior year brought significant recognition as Washington Gatorade Player and AP Class 1A Player of the Year.
Following three standout seasons at Louisville, Van Lith transitioned to LSU for the 202324 season. For the 202425 season, Van Lith made a historic move to TCU, becoming the first player to win both Big 12 Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year in the same season. She was instrumental in leading the team to its first Big 12 regular season and tournament titles in 2025, also earning First-team All-Big 12 and the Big 12 tournament Most Outstanding Player award. Her exceptional collegiate journey culminated in her selection as the 11th overall pick by the Chicago Sky in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
Additionally, Van Lith earned a bronze medal with the United States national team at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, and was named to the Team of the Tournament.
