Italian high-jewellery house Pomellato announced Turkish actress and artist Hande Erçel as its latest brand ambassador. This marks a creative new chapter for the brand and formalizes their budding partnership, with Erçel also becoming Pomellato's newest muse. She was featured bedecked in the maison's new bold and brilliant Nudo jewels. She also secured a renewed advertising deal with the luxury jewelry brand.

Born on November 24, 1993, in Bandırma, Turkey, Hande Erçel pursued her education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, specializing in Traditional Turkish Arts. Her career began with early success in the modeling industry, where she won the title of ‘Miss Turkey’ in 2012, followed by placing second in a beauty pageant held in Azerbaijan the same year. This recognition laid the groundwork for her transition into acting.
Erçel made her acting debut with minor roles in series such as ‘Calikusu,’ ‘Tatar Ramazan,’ and ‘Cilgin Dershane Universitede.’ Her breakthrough came between 2015 and 2016 with her leading role as Selin Yilmaz in the youth series ‘Günesin Kizlari’ (Girls of the Sun). This role gained her significant recognition and led to her receiving the ‘Rising Star’ award at the 42nd Golden Butterfly Awards. Following this, she took on another lead role as Hayat Uzun in ‘Aşk Laftan Anlamaz’ (Love Doesn’t Understand Words) from 2016 to 2017, for which she earned the Best Female Comedy Actress award at the Golden Butterfly Awards.
Her career continued to progress with diverse roles, including Müjde Akay in ‘Halka’ (2019) and Azize Günay in ‘Azize’ (2019). From 2020 to 2021, Erçel starred as Eda Yıldız in ‘Sen Çal Kapımı’ (Love Is in the Air), a role that further solidified her status in the Turkish entertainment industry. Most recently, she portrayed Leyla Gediz in ‘Bambaşka Biri’ (Another Love) from 2023 to 2024. Throughout her career, Erçel has been recognized with numerous awards for her acting prowess and has become a prominent figure in both television and modeling.
