Born on November 24, 1993, in Bandırma, Turkey, Hande Erçel pursued her education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, specializing in Traditional Turkish Arts. Her career began with early success in the modeling industry, where she won the title of ‘Miss Turkey’ in 2012, followed by placing second in a beauty pageant held in Azerbaijan the same year. This recognition laid the groundwork for her transition into acting.
Erçel made her acting debut with minor roles in series such as ‘Calikusu,’ ‘Tatar Ramazan,’ and ‘Cilgin Dershane Universitede.’ Her breakthrough came between 2015 and 2016 with her leading role as Selin Yilmaz in the youth series ‘Günesin Kizlari’ (Girls of the Sun).
