Starring as Janet Fung in the Coen Brothers’ critically acclaimed film Inside Llewyn Davis (2013), Helen Hong went on to establish herself as a versatile comedian, actress, and host. Her early career saw her recognized by The Huffington Post in 2011 as one of ’53 Of Our Favorite Female Comedians’ and later by BuzzFeed in 2014 as one of ’18 Comedians Who Could Take Over The Late Show.’ Hong also secured a recurring role as Mrs. Wong in Nickelodeon’s popular series The Thundermans from 2013 to 2018, showcasing her comedic range to a broad audience. Building on this foundation, Hong continued to expand her television presence, appearing as Janet Trungle in Parks and Recreation (2015) and securing a recurring role as Mrs.
