Helen Hong

Helen Hong is an American comedian, actress, director, and producer who has built a notable career in entertainment. Born in Los Angeles, California, to Korean immigrant parents, she was raised on the East Coast and pursued her education at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Her career trajectory began when she took standup classes at Carolines on Broadway in New York City, which solidified her passion for comedy and led her to pursue it professionally.

Hong’s acting credits include recurring roles in popular television series such as “The Thundermans” on Nickelodeon and Mrs. Song in Starz’s “Blunt Talk.” She has also made guest appearances in critically acclaimed shows like “Silicon Valley,” “Never Have I Ever,” “The Unicorn,” “The Sex Lives of College Girls,” “Jane the Virgin,” “Parks and Recreation,” and “Pretty Little Liars.” Her film work includes performances in “Inside Llewyn Davis” by the Coen Brothers, “Family Switch” (2023), and “The Babysitter: Killer Queen” (2020).
