Helen Housby is a prominent netball Goal Attack and Goal Shooter, distinguished for her pivotal performances and leadership on both the club and international stages. After making her debut for Manchester Thunder’s senior team in the Netball Superleague in 2013, Helen Housby quickly established herself as a formidable Goal Attack and Goal Shooter, known for her pivotal performances. In 2014, she played a crucial role in securing Manchester Thunder’s Superleague Grand-Final victory against Surrey Storm, famously scoring a decisive long-range goal in the final seconds of the match. That same year, Housby earned her first senior cap for England’s national team, the Roses, and contributed to England’s bronze medal win at the 2015 Netball World Cup.
Building on her outstanding form, Housby was again named the New South Wales Swifts MVP in 2024, underscoring her enduring impact and value to the team.
