The American musical comedian and actor, Henry Phillips is best loved for his comedy specials, his award-winning movies and satirical YouTube videos.
A critically acclaimed actor, Phillips has become popular with fans across the country for his Comedy Central Presents special and his collection of hit comedy albums including On The Shoulders of Freaks, Why Haven’t I Heard From You and more recently in 2016, Neither Here Nor There. Philips’ immense popularity has gone on to see him film a one-hour comedy special at the Lyric Theatre in Hollywood. Of his guest appearances, Phillips has featured on episodes of the hit podcasts, Comedy Bang! Bang! And WTF With Marc Maron. Phillips has also been a guest on The Dr. Demento Radio Show, and Jimmy Kimmel Live! As a well-known musical comedian, Phillips has written songs for the award-winning musicals Chips and Blake: the Musical. A highlight of Phillips’ career was his semi-autobiographical movie Punching the Clown, for which he won an array of prestigious awards, including the Audience Award at the Slamdance Film Festival. Of his other comedy work, Phillips hosts his series of satirical cooking videos, Henry’s Kitchen on YouTube and his web series You and Your Fu*cking Coffee.
Continuing with his acting work, the sequel to his award-winning film, Punching Henry, went on to air on the Showtime network. Phillips has also made appearances Comedy Central’s Drunk History, and the hit HBO series Silicon Valley.
