Hitta Slim

Hitta Slim, whose birth name is Lawrence Dawson, also known as Laroo T.H.H. and Laroo, is a rapper from Richmond, California. His music career began in the late 1990s. He signed with AWOL Records and released his debut album, “Fear No Fate,” in 1998. Over the following decade, he released more than 20 albums. He collaborated with artists such as The Jacka and Killa Tay during this period, demonstrating his versatility across various hip-hop subgenres.

In the mid-2010s, Hitta Slim changed his professional identity. This rebranding initiated a productive phase in his career, during which he released eight albums within two years. His music, including tracks like “Hog,” “Still at It,” and “The Truth,” has achieved significant streaming numbers. His collaboration with E-40 on tracks such as “I’m It” contributed to his standing in the music industry. In 2019, he released the singles “Hog” and “Stop Running” under Sick Wid’ It Records.
