Ian Bohen

Ian Bohen is an American actor recognised for his established roles in television series such as MTV’s ‘Teen Wolf’ and Paramount Network’s ‘Yellowstone’. After making his acting debut in Todd Field’s AFI Conservatory project, ‘Delivering’ in 1993, Ian Bohen quickly established himself with a series of notable roles across film and television. He appeared as ‘Young Earp’ in Lawrence Kasdan’s 1994 Oscar-nominated film, Wyatt Earp, portraying a younger version of Kevin Costner’s character. In 1997, Bohen was cast in the titular role of Young Hercules in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, a character he reprised in the subsequent television movie Young Hercules.

From 1998 to 2001, he held a recurring role as Johnny O’Brien in ten episodes of the acclaimed series Any Day Now. Bohen gained wider industry recognition and a dedicated fan base for his pivotal recurring role as Peter Hale in MTV’s hit supernatural drama Teen Wolf, appearing in 42 episodes from 2011 to 2017. During this period, he concurrently took on other significant television roles, including a recurring arc as Daniel Dunn in Major Crimes in 2012 and Edwin Stillwell in Chicago P.D. in 2014.

Bohen also appeared as Freddy Bhaer in the 2018 adaptation of Little Women. Continuing his robust career trajectory, Bohen returned to the DC universe in 2022, recurring as Lt. Mitch Anderson in eight episodes of Superman & Lois. In 2023, he reprised his iconic role as Peter Hale in Teen Wolf: The Movie, delighting long-time fans.

Most recently, in 2024, Bohen took on a starring role as President Edwards in the action thriller Air Force One Down, demonstrating his capacity for leading roles in high-stakes productions.
