Jackson Heywood

Jackson Heywood is an Australian actor recognized for his roles in Australian television, including long-running soap operas and international series. After securing a four-month recurring role as Lachie Cladwell in the Seven Network soap opera Home and Away with his first appearance in May 2009, Jackson Heywood swiftly established himself as a notable talent in Australian television. This debut was followed by a diverse range of projects, including a role in the 2010 feature film Vulnerable as Ben. That same year, Heywood gained further exposure with a guest spot in the popular teen drama series Dance Academy, portraying Revhead #1.

His early career continued to build momentum in 2011 with an appearance as Abe Wiley in the crime drama series East West 101. Seeking to broaden his international experience, Heywood relocated to Los Angeles, where he quickly landed a guest role as Merrick in the critically acclaimed MTV series Teen Wolf in 2014. During his time in the U.S., he also showcased his versatility in short films, starring as Doppleganger in The Answers and Buck Duane in The Weight of Blood and Bones in 2015. Upon his return to Australia, Heywood rejoined Home and Away in 2016, this time taking on the prominent main role of Brody Morgan.

Looking ahead, Heywood is set to appear as AFP Sergeant Phil Brent in the much-anticipated 2025 international series NCIS: Sydney, reinforcing his adaptable talent across diverse and significant projects.
