Ian Colletti was born on March 3, 1997, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, USA. He began his acting career at a young age, making his television debut at seven in an episode of “Blue’s Clues” in 2004. This early start was followed by appearances in “Waterfront” (2006) and a role in “The Sopranos” in 2007. His film career commenced with supporting parts in “Phoebe in Wonderland” (2008) and “Baby Mama” (2008).
Colletti’s career progressed with a leading role in the 2013 film “Jimmy,” where he portrayed a teenager with intellectual disability interacting with supernatural elements. This role was a turning point, leading to his casting as Finn Deane, the teenage son of the titular character, in the American version of the TV series “Rake” (2014) for 13 episodes. His most prominent role to date is Eugene “Arseface” Root in the AMC television series “Preacher,” a character he played in 43 episodes from 2016 to 2019.
He has continued to work on various television projects, including recurring roles as Agent Chris Moore in “The Hot Zone” (2021) for 6 episodes and George Wagner in “Billions” (2020) for 2 episodes.
