Mona Kattan was the former Global President of Huda Beauty, which she co-founded alongside her sisters Huda and Alya Kattan. She was a driving force behind its launch and growth to a $1B valuation. Huda Beauty is redefining its future with the sale of its fragrance brand, KAYALI, to co-founder Mona Kattan and private equity firm General Atlantic, allowing Huda Kattan to regain majority ownership of the namesake beauty brand by buying back TSG Consumer Partners' stake.
Huda Beauty ended its eight-year partnership with TSG Consumer Partners following Huda Kattan's buyback of full ownership of Huda Beauty. This was enabled by the sale of the KAYALI fragrance line to Mona Kattan and General Atlantic.
