Mona Kattan is an Iraqi-American entrepreneur recognized for co-founding Huda Beauty and establishing Kayali, a fragrance brand rooted in her Arab heritage. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in finance from the American University of Sharjah in 2008 and beginning her professional career in investment banking, Mona Kattan co-founded the cosmetics company Huda Beauty in 2013 with her sisters Huda and Alya Kattan. Playing a driving role in its launch, Kattan recognized her sister Huda’s makeup artistry, which led to the development of their initial product line of faux eyelashes. This debut collection quickly sold out at Sephora, signaling the brand’s immediate market appeal.
