Isa Briones, born Isabella Camille Briones on January 17, 1999, in London, England, began her performing career early, modeling in New York at the age of three. Her parents, Jon Jon Briones and Megan Johnson Briones, are also actors and singers, influencing her path into the arts. In 2006, her family relocated to Los Angeles, where she further pursued acting, developing a foundation in both film and stage work. She honed her skills, majoring in theatre and musical theatre at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Her early artistic endeavors include appearances in television commercials and various supporting roles in films, reflecting a steady progression in her career from a young age.
Briones gained significant recognition for her role in the CBS/Paramount+ series *Star Trek: Picard* (2020–2022), where she played multiple intricate characters, including the androids Soji and Dahj, as well as Sutra and Kore. Her ability to portray distinct personalities within the same series showcased her range as an actress. Concurrently with her television work, Briones maintained a strong presence in theatre. She earned an Ovation Award for Featured Actress In a Musical for *Next to Normal* (2018) in Los Angeles.
