Isabelle Haak

Isabelle Haak was born on July 11, 1999, in Perstorp, Sweden. Her volleyball career began at a young age, playing for the youth teams of her hometown club, Engelholms VS. By the age of 14, Haak had already made her debut for the senior team in the Elitserien. She quickly established herself, becoming a key player and helping Engelholms VS secure two consecutive Swedish Championship titles in the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons. During these early years, she was also recognized as the Player of the Year by the Swedish Volleyball Federation for both seasons, highlighting her rapid ascent in the sport.

Haak’s career progressed internationally when she moved to the French club Béziers VB for the 2016/17 season. Here, she continued to demonstrate her scoring ability, leading the French League in points during the regular season. Her performance earned her the MVP award and the title of best opposite spiker for the season. Following her success in France, Haak joined Savino Del Bene Scandicci in Italy for the 2017/18 season, where she maintained her top-scoring form, leading the league with 491 points. Her contributions were instrumental in Scandicci’s strong performance, reaching the semifinals of the Italian League playoffs.

In 2019, Haak moved to VakıfBank S.K. in Turkey, marking a highly successful period in her career. With VakıfBank, she secured numerous titles, including the Turkish Cup and Turkish League in the 2020/21 season, where she was also named the Turkish League MVP. The 2021/22 season was particularly notable, as she helped VakıfBank win five out of five major titles: the Turkish Super Cup, FIVB Club World Championship, Turkish Cup, Turkish League, and CEV Champions League, earning MVP awards in the Club World Championship and Turkish Cup. In 2022, she returned to Italy to play for Imoco Volley Conegliano, continuing her winning streak by securing the Italian Super Cup, FIVB Club World Championship, Italian Cup, and Italian League in her first season, along with additional MVP accolades.
