Ivan Dmitrievich Barbashev is a prominent Russian professional ice hockey forward currently playing for the Vegas Golden Knights in the National Hockey League (NHL). His journey began in Russia, where he honed his skills before moving to North America in 2012 to join the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). During his time with the Wildcats, Barbashev made a significant impact, scoring 62 points in his rookie season and earning a spot on the QMJHL All-Rookie Team. His impressive performance led to his selection by the St. Louis Blues in the second round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
