Best known as a Ukranian singer, Ivan Dorn is also famous as a DJ, TV presenter and producer. Dorn was born in Chelyabinsk, Russia but moved to Slavutych, Ukraine at the age of 2. Dorn first began acting when was 6 years old at a festival Gold Autumn of Slavutich. Dorn made his first appearance as a singer in a Moscow cappella duo in 2006. However, he decided to go back to Ukraine and join the Kyic National K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University. In that same year, Dorn met with Anna Dobrydneva, at the Jamiroquai’s concert. With Anna, Dorn created a duo which they named Para Normalnykh. The duo sang together from 2007 to 2010, when they ended their collaboration due to Anna’s new collaboration with Ukranian singer, Artem Meh. Dorn was also contributing in the TV world as a host for the program Guten Morgen on M1 channel in 2008. Dorn released his debut studio album in 2012, titled Co’N’Dorn, which made a huge impact on the Russian and Ukranian music scene. This album also won Dorn many awards. With his successful appearances in the music industry and entertainment world in general, Dorn was invited to be a judge for the fifth season of the X Factor Ukraine, in 2014. Dorn also performed at the New Wave Music festival in Jurmala, with the Skryabin song Penguin Dance in the summer of 2014. Dorn’s commitment to the music industry continued, however his breakthrough was when he won the Best MTV Russia act in MTV EMA 2017.
