Jaime M. Callica

Jaime M. Callica was born in Toronto, Ontario. He was raised by his single Trinidadian mother, who is of mixed Chinese, Indian, and Latin ancestry. From an early age, around two years old, Callica exhibited a strong inclination towards performing, often impersonating Michael Jackson for family and friends. This early interest developed into a performing career that began with dance, eventually leading him to discover a passion for acting.

Over a decade in the entertainment industry has seen Callica build an extensive resume. He has appeared in a wide array of popular and award-winning television shows and feature films. In 2018, he obtained an O-1 work Visa, enabling him to advance his career in Los Angeles. His work spans platforms such as Disney, Netflix, Oprah’s “OWN” Network, BET, Lifetime, Hallmark, and Amazon Prime. A significant milestone in his career was his series regular role as Agent Brian Rollins in Tyler Perry’s “Ruthless,” the #1 show on BET+. This role contributed to a notable increase in his public profile. Callica continues to pursue acting with the stated goal of entertaining audiences.

His career progression also includes a transition from studying criminology and business, where he engaged in property and business ventures, to fully dedicating himself to acting. He sold his businesses, undertook acting classes, and began with background work before relocating to Los Angeles to immerse himself in the industry. In addition to his acting commitments, Callica is involved with charitable causes supporting single mothers and parents with disabilities, and he splits his time between Los Angeles and Vancouver.
