Jack Del Rio is an Football coach and former linebacker with over three decades of experience in the NFL, having transitioned from a decorated playing career to leadership roles as both a defensive coordinator and head coach. After being drafted by the New Orleans Saints in 1985, Jack Del Rio quickly established himself, earning NFL All-Rookie Team honors that same year. He went on to an impactful 11-season professional playing career as a linebacker across multiple NFL teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, and Minnesota Vikings, where his exceptional performance led to a Pro Bowl selection in 1994. Del Rio concluded his playing tenure with the Miami Dolphins in 1996.
This success led to his first NFL head coaching appointment with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2003. Over nine seasons, Del Rio guided the Jaguars to a 68-71 regular season record and two playoff appearances in 2005 and 2007. After Jacksonville, he served as defensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos (2012-2014), including a period as interim head coach in 2013. In 2015, Del Rio took the helm as head coach of the Oakland Raiders, orchestrating a remarkable turnaround.
Building on his three decades of NFL experience, he was announced as the head coach of the Paris Musketeers in the European League of Football (ELF) for the upcoming 2025 season, embarking on a new international chapter in his distinguished career.
