Jackie Long

Jackie Long was born on October 23, 1981, in Pasadena, California, USA. He began his career in the entertainment industry as an actor, gaining recognition for his roles in various films and television series. Early in his career, he attended John Muir High School in Pasadena, where he was involved in multiple sports, including basketball, football, track, and baseball, demonstrating a foundational commitment and versatility.

Long’s acting credits include notable roles in films such as “ATL” (2006), where he played Esquire; “Idlewild” (2006), portraying Monk S. Dupois; and “The Comebacks” (2007), as Trotter. He also appeared in “Soul Men” (2008) as Zig-Zag, working alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Bernie Mac. In recent years, Long has been a consistent presence on television, with recurring roles as Kareem Johnson in “Games People Play” (2019–2021) and Rico Barnes in “Power Book II: Ghost” (2020–2021). His work also extends to music videos, including a cameo in T.I.’s “What You Know” and features in “Nipsey Hussle feat. Belly & Dom Kennedy: Double Up” (2018).
