Manuel Fettner

Manuel Fettner was born on June 17, 1985, in Vienna, Austria. He represents SV Innsbruck-Bergisel-Tirol and has maintained an active professional career in ski jumping for over two decades. Fettner’s dedication to the sport has earned him a prominent position on the international circuit.

Fettner’s career highlights include significant achievements on the global stage. He secured a silver medal on the normal hill at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. In the same Olympic Games, he also earned a gold medal as part of the Team Large Hill event. His success extends to the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, where he won a gold medal with the team in 2013 in Val di Fiemme and a bronze medal with the team in 2017 in Lahti. At the FIS Ski Flying World Championships, Fettner has earned a silver medal in the team event in 2024 in Bad Mitterndorf and a bronze medal in the team event in 2016.

Throughout his career, Fettner has made 360 individual starts in World Cup events, achieving 5 individual podium finishes, with 1 individual third-place finish in 2011, and two individual third-place finishes in both 2017 and 2023 along with one individual second-place finish in 2023.
