Australian internet personality and online sports show host Jacob Bevis is known for being the host of The Bev Show on Facebook.
Bevis has been a superfan of numerous sports his whole life, and in 2011 started his first YouTube channel show following Australian Rules Football, horse racing, and cricket. He then started Bevob5 Productions, which ran for a few years before he got his big break with a livestream in 2016. Facebook fans loved his commentary and coverage of the 2016 AFL Grand Final, and The Bev Show was born. Over the following years he created different segments in the show, including Angry Bev and Bev’s Hero of the Week, and the show went viral in 2018 thanks to a reaction video posted by Bevis. The video showed the internet star at his home, reacting to the result when the Hurricanes beat the Perth Scorchers, and helped to secure thousands more followers on Bevis’s Facebook page. The page now has nearly 50k followers, with the sports personality posting updates, weekly streams and reaction videos which his viewers love and look out for each and every week.
As well as his online updates, Bevis regularly umpires in the Tasmanian State League and worked at two Grand Finals in 2018 and 2019. This lovable sports expert continues to be a key voice on the Australian sports scene, with thousands of fans relying on his insight and analysis.
