Jai Rodriguez began his career at the age of 18, taking on the role of Angel in the highly acclaimed Broadway musical RENT. He continued his presence in Broadway productions, including ‘The Producers’ and ‘Spinning Into Butter’, and originated the titular role of Zanna in the Off-Broadway production ‘Zanna, Don’t!’. Concurrently, Rodriguez became a prominent figure in the New York City nightlife scene with his long-running ‘Twisted Cabaret’ concert series, which successfully ran for three years at Club XL.
He gained widespread recognition for his role as the ‘Culture Vulture’ in Bravo’s Emmy Award-winning series ‘Queer Eye For The Straight Guy’. This role established him as an authority in culture and style.
