The brilliant sportsman Jamie “The Welsh Warrior” Jones is a professional snooker player, who has gone on to reach three career semi-finals. As an impressive amateur, he was 14-years-old when he became the youngest ever player at the time to make a maximum 147 break in competition.
Born and raised in Wales, Jones began playing snooker at a young age, and in 2002 when he was 14-years-old became the youngest ever player to make a maximum 147 break in competition. He began his professional career two years later by playing in the 2004 Challenge Tour, and since then has proven himself to be a formidable opponent on the baize at events and tournaments across the globe.
Jones has reached six quarter-finals as a professional, as well as the semi-finals of the 2014-15 Shoot Out; the 2015-16 Australian Goldfields Open; the 2017-18 Paul Hunter Classic; and the 2020-21 Scottish Open.
