Jamil ‘Jay’ Robinson was born on August 21, 1991. He began his rugby career at Ohio University Rugby Club and made his First Grade debut with Columbus (Scioto Valley) RFC in 2012. Throughout his career, he has played in various positions including Wing, Centre, and Second Row. Robinson joined the Brooklyn Kings, making his current club debut against the New York Knights. In 2018, he participated in the Grand Finals with the Brooklyn Kings against the Jacksonville Axemen, where his team finished as runners-up.

Robinson’s international career includes representing the USA in Test Matches. Between 2018 and 2019, he earned 4 caps for the USA national team, scoring 1 try. He later played for the Red Star club during the 2019 season, competing in the Balkan Super League, Challenge Cup, Serbian Championship, Serbian Cup, and Serbian Super Cup.
