Janae Sergio

Janae Sergio served eight years in the U.S. Navy, including deployment on the USS John C. Stennis during Operation Enduring Freedom. Following her military service, she transitioned to federal civilian service, culminating in her role as Chief of Air Force Lodging. In this position, she oversaw 88 Air Force Inns, managed 26,000 rooms, and was responsible for a $500 million annual budget. Her career progression demonstrates a continuous upward trajectory from military service to executive management within federal civilian roles, showcasing her capabilities in large-scale operational oversight and financial management.

In addition to her federal service, Janae Sergio established herself as an entrepreneur and author. She founded DD-214 Warrior LLC, creating platforms for veteran advocacy and community support. She is also a two-time #1 bestselling author, with works including “Perfectly Flawed: A Veteran’s Journey from Homeless to Hero” and the upcoming “DD-214: The Advocate’s Battle Plan.” These literary contributions reflect her personal experiences and her commitment to supporting the veteran community through sharing stories and advocating for relevant issues.
