Janelle Arthur is a recording artist, songwriter, and actress who gained international recognition as a Top 5 finalist on American Idol, performing frequently at the Grand Ole Opry and starring in feature films. After achieving international recognition as a Top 5 finalist on American Idol’s twelfth season (2012-2013), Janelle Arthur immediately embarked on the American Idols LIVE! Tour in 2013. Prior to her national breakthrough, Arthur built an extensive performance career, accumulating over 3,000 shows at the Country Tonite Theater between 1998 and 2009.
Her early professional experience also included portraying a young Dolly Parton in Dollywood’s production of Paradise Road. In 2010, Arthur relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, dedicating her focus to songwriting and expanding her music career.
