Janelle Ginestra began her dance journey at the age of two in Silicon Valley, quickly developing her artistry through competitive dancing. Her childhood also included an acting career, where she showcased her dance abilities in film, television, and commercials. After relocating to the Central Valley, she continued to self-train, choreograph, and perform for local artists. She further expanded her skills by competing in cheerleading, winning multiple national championship titles in pom. This led to a decade-long career with Jamz Cheer and Dance, where she became a head instructor, teaching dance and cheer to children and teenagers across the country, cultivating a passion for teaching.
At 18, Ginestra moved to Los Angeles to pursue a professional dance career, leveraging her background in dance, cheerleading, and choreography. Her talent quickly secured her recurring roles in television series such as “Glee,” “X-Factor,” and “America’s Got Talent.” She also appeared in films including “Alvin and the Chipmunks 2,” “Honey 2,” “Bring it On: Fight to the Finish,” and “Fired Up.” As a dancer, she toured with notable artists like Pink, Jennifer Lopez, and Chaka Khan, and featured in several music videos, including Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda.” Her dedication led to choreographic opportunities for artists such as JBalvin, Pitbull, Bad Bunny, J-Lo, Halsey, Sza, Kesha, Paris Hilton, Hyolyn, Jojo, Katseye, Dove Cameron & IYLA.
