Voted the 2017 Morning Show of the Year by the North Carolina Broadcasters Association, Jared and Katie in the Morning is a breakfast radio show that has grown in popularity over the years. The brainchild of Jared Pike and Katie Tesh, the duo took over the airwaves in 2012 and quickly became a hit with the listeners and in the ratings.They share everything about their lives to keep their audience engaged and entertained, especially with their regular features War of the Roses, Torture Tuesday, and Local Talent Tuesday’s. They are also helped on air by fellow hosts Jason Goodman, and Matt “Man Kisser Matt” Wells.

Jared Pike was born and raised in Oklahoma, and educated at the University of North Carolina. He started in radio as an off-air producer and writer in 2007. Katie Tesh began working in radio with an unpaid internship at a local station in Charlotte, before going on to work for CBS Radio at Kiss 95.1. She got her big break in 2005 when she was hired as a presenter by the Dick Broadcasting Company in North Carolina. In 2012 she teamed up with Jared to co-host the Jared & Katie in the Morning show, as well as their regular podcasts.
