Justin Schlegel, a familiar voice to the Baltimore community, has been a cornerstone of morning radio since the inception of the wildly popular program, Justin, Scott & Spiegel, in 2013. Broadcasting on 98 Rock from 5:30 AM to 10 AM, Schlegel’s charismatic and witty presence has made him a beloved figure in the region.

Schlegel’s journey in entertainment began at the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland, where he excelled and even took on a tutoring role for fellow students. His early career involved board operation duties at WYCR and WHVR, but his true passion emerged during a spontaneous venture into standup comedy at a local bar after quitting his radio job. This decision propelled him into the national comedy scene, with 15 shows a month, a touring schedule, and an appearance at the prestigious Just For Laughs festival in Montreal.

A chance encounter with 98 Rock hosts Kirk McEwen and Mickey Cucchiella led to Schlegel featuring on their show. His impressive performance brought him back to his radio roots, and he spent years making his mark across 98 Rock before securing his late-night program, The Justin Schlegel Fiasco. Progressing through various time slots, he ultimately claimed the coveted position as the morning show host.

Balancing his radio commitments, Schlegel diversified his portfolio by joining Die Laughing Productions in 2015, specializing in murder mystery performances. More recently, he became a prominent figure on the celebrity video-sharing app Cameo, earning a stellar 5-star rating from his appreciative fans.
