Justin Schlegel, born in Waldorf, Maryland, embarked on his radio career driven by an early interest in the medium, nurtured by his parents’ avid listening habits. As a teenager, he became a frequent caller to various radio shows across the Baltimore and D.C. regions, developing a familiarity with the broadcasting world. This early engagement laid the groundwork for his future in radio, foreshadowing his eventual role as a co-host of a major morning show. Upon graduating from Maurice J. McDonough High School, Schlegel was noted for his distinctive humor, an attribute that would later define his on-air persona.

Schlegel’s professional trajectory led him to become one-third of the “Justin, Scott and Spiegel” morning show on 98 Rock. On this platform, he is recognized for his humor, characterized by jokes, puns, and wordplay. Beyond radio, Justin Schlegel expanded his performance career into comedy, including stand-up and sketch work. He joined Die Laughing Productions in 2015, where he specialized in murder mystery performances, showcasing his versatility as an entertainer.
