Jared Thomas Goff, born on October 14, 1994, in San Rafael, California, emerged as a standout figure in Football from an early age. He attended Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, California, where he quickly made a name for himself, throwing for 7,687 yards and 93 touchdowns over three varsity seasons. His impressive high school career laid the groundwork for his collegiate success at the University of California, Berkeley. At Cal, Goff set numerous Pac-12 Conference single-season records for passing yards and touchdowns, demonstrating his potent arm and leadership abilities, particularly during the 2015 season where he earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors.
His transition to the National Football League began when he was selected as the first overall pick by the Los Angeles Rams in the 2016 NFL Draft. After a challenging rookie season, Goff experienced a significant breakout in 2017 under new head coach Sean McVay, leading the Rams to their first playoff appearance since 2004 and earning his first Pro Bowl selection.
