Jared Grasso, inducted into Quinnipiac University’s Athletics Hall of Fame in 2014, established a distinguished collegiate playing career before transitioning into coaching. As a four-year starter and two-year captain for Quinnipiac’s men’s basketball team, he concluded his playing tenure in May 2002 with 1,134 career points, ranking 22nd on the university’s all-time scoring list. Grasso also secured a top-five position in assists with 404 and three-point field goals with 216. His coaching journey commenced as a graduate assistant at Hofstra University for the 2002-03 season, followed by a two-year stint as an assistant coach at the University of Hartford.
Under his strategic direction, the Bryant program notably tripled its win total, showcasing significant growth and development. Most recently, in April 2024, Grasso was appointed Director of Athletic Advancement and Recruitment and Head Coach of Varsity and Postgraduate Boys Basketball at The Knox School. In this pivotal role, he continues to leverage his extensive experience in collegiate athletics to develop talent and advance athletic programs, building on a career defined by measurable success and transformative leadership across Division I basketball.
