American actor Jason Shane Scott has starred in numerous TV movies, as well as landing small parts in series such as Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy.
Shane Scott was a talented sports player throughout his youth, playing baseball, basketball and football for his school and later in the state championships. He impressed college admissions officers, and was offered multiple scholarships, but chose instead to follow his dream of becoming an actor. The risk paid off, and the young actor started to land parts, moving to Europe and taking acting lessons to launch his career. In 1998 he was cast in television series One Life to Live, appearing in the show as a recurring role for three years. He was nominated for two awards during his time with the programme, Outstanding Male Newcomer and Outstanding Younger Leading Actor. This led to more TV credits, including in Charmed, The Young and the Restless, Scrubs and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In 2006 he reprised the role of Will Rappaport in One Life to Live, starring in the show for another year. A string of movies then followed for Shane Scott, with roles in films including Queens of Drama, The Wrong Roommate, Snow White: A Deadly Summer and Sniper: Special Ops.
Most recently, Shane Scott has continued to land parts in both television movies and cinema releases, with his latest film, The Wrong Housesitter, airing in 2020. He has forged a successful career in the competitive world of film and TV, and is now a respected and in-demand actor.
