Kaori Oinuma

Born on July 22, 2000, in Nagoya, Japan, Kaori Oinuma moved to the Philippines at age four. She later returned to Japan with her mother at 13, helping with family finances through part-time jobs. During her high school years, Oinuma was a varsity basketball player. She graduated from Bartolome Sangalang National High School in Guimba, Nueva Ecija, in July 2023, and is currently pursuing a psychology degree at Philippine Women’s University as a scholar of Boy Abunda.

Oinuma gained public attention in 2018 as an official housemate in ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Otso,’ where she finished as the eighth Big Placer. Following her reality television appearance, she made her acting debut in 2019 with a role in ‘Parasite Island.’ In 2020, she joined Rise Artists Studio, a talent management arm of ABS-CBN Films, and secured her first lead role in ‘The Four Bad Boys And Me,’ an adaptation of a popular Wattpad story. Her career continued with appearances in ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya: Mata’ and ‘Home Sweetie Home Extra Sweet.’

From 2021 to 2023, Oinuma expanded her filmography significantly. She starred as Michiko Tarranza in the iWantTFC series ‘He’s Into Her’ and its second season (2021-2022). In 2021, she debuted on the big screen in ‘Love at First Stream,’ an official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival. She also featured in the iWantTFC original series ‘Tara, G!’ (2022) and the mini-series ‘Fractured’ (2023). Her other movie credits include ‘School Year 2007’ and ‘A Very Good Girl’ (2023). Upcoming projects include ‘Untold,’ ‘Romance Reboot,’ and ‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay’ in 2025.
